All,

We will be having the traditional Easter global quest on Sunday (catching hares). Easter has snuck up on me this year so apologies for the short notice.

Regards,
Vassago

Why are the new signposts on the docks already weatherbeaten ?
They've only been in like two days!

sweet global , but vospire is way to small for so many people unless you let the hares repop faster

I think the location in Vospire more or less kept me away from it, but I gave it a shot, not just its size, I just don't love the place lol. But enjoyed leaving my trap there while i pirated and got a bauble every other check back lol.

Happy Easter

It was awesome.

Calum's secret global tip: Globals are often better later in the day, when repop rates have been fine tuned, and people wander off and do other stuff, leaving the die hards (and those who have read this secret tip!) to make a killing.

Not so secret now, but, as Blitzen would say, Arrrrrr!

I also discovered, on this global, that it is NOT a good idea to use a mount onboard ship and trigger your rocking horse alias..

:skull:

Good clean family fun.

Thank you for the Global and Happy Easter everyone!

I had a small suggestion for the trapping globals (Easter, Christmas, etc).

The silver hares seem to be generally avoided by most people

Well, i wouldn't say completely worthless - some players can use them (lower levels, people without brooms, etc.) and some people justl ike hunting the silver bunnies for fun. They're just not VERY useful to VERY many players :) So for those people who just avoid silver hares, maybe this might be a way to get some of them hunting again...

The boots are very useful, the only problem I saw is that they're no-container and there's a character limit on them.

Wow..

First, thanks to the immortals for giving up their time to run & oversee the global.

Second, to the players, not all players, just the whiners that are posting here... You're already being give a lot, by virtue of the global itself. Ungrateful much?

I didn't think the tone of my post was ungrateful. I certainly didn't mean it that way. I was simply making a suggestion that I thought could benefit future globals. I think that constructive suggestions from the player base are a positive thing, not a negative one.

Suggestions are fine... we'll consider that for next year's global.

Well, we don't have trapping globals every time, but they are designed to be "something different", and I think they accomplish that in a fun way.
