I search and long to hear the native tongue of my people. If any travelers who have found their way to Alyria from the underdark still remember the language of our mother-tongue, I seek to know you.

Although that may be her native tongue, I doubt it is the native tongue of Elynril's people. So zu'tour l'uoi'nota phor.

Xarlia, ph'dos natha floh'l d'l'jallil?
Jheron, two problems with your question: a) this isn't elvish the lady Eilistraee accepts all races into her protection. Even ogres.

I was wondering why I couldn't understand a thing of this gutterspeak.
THIS is Elvish.
Xarlia naa handwen, ar'lammen en Mori'Quessir naa holma.

I do know though, that there are those among the drow who follow a deity which accepts all races into her fold. I take offense at you calling my native tongue gutterspeak, but I recognise that you are still entrenched in your misguided elitism and I pray that the lady enlightens you some time soon. She appears to everyone eventually and I hope when you meet her you choose to embrace her love.
Always remember, that light shines brightest when it is surrounded by the deepest darkness.
