for Adventurers levels 10 to 59.
Lord Vashir is the master in charge of this quest.
It seems that there has been a rash of pet abductions recently and
reports of wandering pets have been pouring in. It could be that this is
merely the work of a practical joker that is "freeing" pets or a far more
sinister plot. Lord Vashir has decided to dispatch you to get to the bottom
of the situation as soon as possible before the city is overrun with
animals. Should you find the culprit or any dangerous animals, you have
Lord Vashir's blessing to deal with them as you see fit.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 30 quest points, 2 practice points, 24,000 experience points,
0 build points, and 2,800 gold pieces.
You have 113 Alyrian minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Where Has My Little Love Gone? consists of:
Phase 1: Rescue a brown pony.
Phase 2: Rescue a duckling.
Phase 3: *Rescue a tom cat.
Phase 4: Defeat a lurking thief.
Phase 5: Rescue a tree frog.
The first phase involving the brown pony is weird. Unless the livery in New Rigel has moved or went bankrupt, this phase is impossible to complete. I'm standing on Lewis Street just a few rooms south of the north gate and I see this on my screen:
Lewis Street - N - (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> - - S - Traversing the entire length of the city from the North Gate to the southern one, Lewis Street was named after one of the mayors of the old town. A fine, broad street that's well maintained, one can find people from all walks of life along its stretch. The entrance to a small livery is just to the west.
Notice that there's no door for the livery...
