This quest [171] is called 'Mission Impossible.',
for Adventurers levels 240 to 241.
Lady Templeton is the mistress in charge of this quest.
I need your help. For weeks now I have not been able to sleep at nights
because the dead spirit of the lord of this land fills the rooms of this
castle with the noise of his moaning and chain rattling. Your mission
adventurer, should you choose to accept it, is to seek out the spirit of my
dead husband and destroy him, so that I may sleep peacefully again.
Remember, if you fail, the land will disavow any knowledge of you. Good
luck for if you do succeed you will be heavily rewarded.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 10 quest points, 10 practice points, 0 archon points,
0 build points, 0 piety, and 500 gold pieces.
You have 39 Alyrian minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Mission Impossible. consists of:
Phase 1: *Defeat the spirit of Lord Templeton.

10QP? Seriously. Only reason people do this quest is that it's a 10 minute 10pp quest, but it rewards nothing in the gold and QP department.

The game has been changing over the years and questing is the slowest method of PP accumulation and a lot of these old quests should be looked into, the ones that are based solely around PP.

How is questing the 'slowest method of PP accumulation' if the quest you posted nets 10 PP with like 4 minutes of work? Hell, you don't even have to leave Templeton Castle.

If you're questing for PP you're seriously going about it wrong. There's a vast number of alternative ways to get high mounts of PP (Minigames, Crystal quests, Boss Kills, Mark Hunting, many other area mini puzzles) that can net you more PP for less effort on a daily basis.

Effectively the only reason you need to quest is to get QP which are much, much rarer outside of globals and there's a vast number of quests that reward little to no QP at all quest masters.

Questing is just one method among many for gaining PP and QP. Many of the other methods you listed (and one you missed: archon tokens) grant QP as well as PP. Certain marks can grant 500qp or more upon completion.

This quest is tipped towards PP rewards, others are tipped towards QP rewards, and others are pretty evenly balanced. It all evens out in the end...
