This quest [31816] is called 'Bonfire!',
for Adventurers levels 100 to 241.
This is a SEASONAL quest. It is available for a limited time.
Lady Undya is the mistress in charge of this quest.
The nights are becoming chilly and I would like to host a bonfire for the
town. I have asked the Friar of Gath to do the honors of coordinating the
event. Visit the Friar and find out what he needs help with. He'll no
doubt need a fuel source, way to light the fire and location to have the
fire. Hurry, I'm starting to gather the people right now!
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 75 quest points, 4 practice points, 10,000 experience points,
7 build points, 0 piety, and 1,500 gold pieces.
You have 207 Alyrian minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Bonfire! consists of:
Phase 1: Visit the friar of Gath.
Phase 2: Journey to The End of the Path, Before the Forest.
Phase 3: Recover 20/20 of a rotten old tree branch.
Phase 4: Visit Mikka.
Phase 5: Journey to A Shady Alcove.

Unreasonable weight requirement, re phase: Recover 20 of a rotten old tree branch.

As I discovered, you need to recover AND show all 20 branches on hand, and they are 36 pebbles each. That means you need to have 7.2 stone free, which is a huge struggle even if you're lucky enough to have a trunk at my level. This would be more reasonable reducing the amount of branches, or reducing the weight of the branches. It's unreasonable to expect a level 100 to require a pouch, and they can't use a trunk at that level.

Alternatively, you could change it to collecting multiples of the item 'a long, sharp stick', also dropped from forest trolls but only 9 pebbles each. They'd probably burn better in a bonfire than rotten wood :)
