This quest is called 'Music Lesson IV',
for Adventurers levels 35 to 250.
Lord Vashir is the master in charge of this quest.
MUSIC is the most important part of a BARD'S life. No. It IS a BARD'S
life. Go and see Brahn and take a lesson from him. He will tell you to
consult with another BARD, obtain a suitable instrument, and then perform
for him. The spells that Brahn will teach you to cast may not be that
complex, but as you practice you will become a better musician. Before you
can play the harder SONGS, you must master every nuiance of the easier ones.
Good luck and be sure to practice!
++ This quest requires you to use a skill or spell to complete a phase. If you do not have access to this skill or spell at this time, you can turn in the quest incomplete at no penalty ++
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 47 quest points, 4 practice points, 0 archon points,
3 build points, 0 piety, and 3,700 gold pieces.
You have 190 Alyrian minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Music Lesson IV consists of:
Phase 1: *Visit Brahn.
Phase 2: *Visit a talented bard.
Phase 3: *Journey to The Adventurer's Melody.
Phase 4: *Journey to Hann's Music Shoppe.
Phase 5: *Recover a clarinet.
Phase 6: Play the song that casts 'Enhanced Strength' for Brahn.
Phase 7: (Hidden until previous goal is completed)
Phase 8: (Hidden until previous goal is completed)
I'm stuck at phase #6 because Brahn will not recognize that I am playing the song. I have tried a couple of different note combinations and even used the clarinet from the quest that I retrieved. I was also vis for everything, and invis once.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, it's kind of taking the wind out of my sails to run into these little issues every single time I try to do a quest.

I was able to get it to work once I let the spell wear off because I was already using it previously - so when you extend the spell it doesn't qualify as completing the phase. After dispelling myself and then trying again, it worked. Great success!
