Hi all,

We're in the process of moving the site/game/etc. to the new server(s). As you can see, the website is back up. We're currently working on getting the game up on the new sites as well. About 80% complete!

I think you should change it back to where after a reboot every mob is guaranteed to pop with items where it otherwise would take many repops to obtain, like the necronomicon just as an example. It seems the playerbase has to suffer from buggy code and crashes whenever we do a reboot, why not make it something people can actually look forward to instead of dread. maybe other benefits to the playerbase too, like an over-scatter of the world upon reboot.. just throwing around some ideas

If I'm around when there's a crash, I usually do three or four additional scatters :)

I've been working on the underlying code lately and have rewritten some of the core database handling from the base up - was using a new pooling library that I scrapped after it kept having problems in production. So, I wrote my own, which should be more stable (at the very least, I can debug it a lot easier!)

hell yeah good shit, what about all mobs and bosses be full loot their first life after a reboot, I miss the days of trying to rush to areas to be the first there to get what I want after a reboot, the mad dash was actually pretty fun, whereas now reboot often means more stuff is broke and a few quick crashes are inevitable, just leaving us all thinking ohh great here we go again...

Really cant wait for the game to get back up, got in a great clan, even got some RPing going on with my guild mate, im glad the website is back up, thanks for all your guys efforts involved to make this possible for us, i spent a long time finding a game with good mechanics involved that actually made RPing even slightly possible, if not actually enjoyable :D

OH totally forgot to ask, will the game use the same ip info as before, or still able to connect with a client by entering materiamagica.com and all that stuff?

Question hopefully answered with the reboot after the server transfer is completed:

Clan save-item-chests.. Were, and how can I get one? Duende says in the clan item shop, but again, he's wrong and there are none.

Please advise.

The new game ip address will be 50.112.171.126 but you should be able to connect via materiamagica.com (assuming your DNS is not cached. If it is, try rebooting).

Regarding the clan chest question: I'll have to look into that after this migration - too many other details to tend to at the moment unfortunately :)

My lockers do not appear to exist. Or at least in the limited time I've had to check, my trunks don't let me access my rune locker.

Screw this. I was trying to wait until it came back up and continue my endless attempts to complete my achievement quest (which by the way is unbelievably frustrating when you can't multiclass until it's completed), but waiting around 4+ hours is beyond logical. I cannot believe how much time I waste waiting for this game to be currently working.
