summon elemental tweak

For those of us who end up doing a lot of solo play, summon elemental is very handy. I realize in pk situations it can be pretty unbalancing. Could it be tweaked to allow us to have a full form of npcs, but they just don't join in player killing at all?

It is a fun, useful, expensive spell. With the various nerfs to elemental level and formation limits over the last couple years, it has dwindled a lot. How about making it fun and useful again?

Perhaps make the number of npcs that can form up a function of:
3 (base) + some calculation on personality + some lesser calculation of player age (senior leadership :-).

Add swarm to the list. My witch class ring is about junk now. Two 'fierce' npcs? =\ perhaps some skill power is needed for it.

I agree elementals are very useful and can be powerful in pk.

This thread seems to hit it on the head.

Playing a path low in melee damage with multiple methods of summoning familiars for fighting and having it limited by a game mechanic is a pain. I see the balance for preventing pk imbalance but still there should be another dynamic in place to prevent/dissuade this from happening.
